Away Again!
He’s working out of town AGAIN! I hate when that happens, but not too much I can do about it really! It had been a dreadful week of work, so even though he was scheduled to come home tomorrow, I decided to drive down and try to surprise him on Friday night!
I knew it would be a longshot but I went to the front desk and explained the entire story to the girl at the desk. At first she said there was no way she could do that, but after lots of begging and pleading, she gave in! I think she may have been a romantic at heart!
So, up I went to the room and let myself in, changed and waited … and waited … and waited! I didn’t ever think he’d show up, but he finally did! Very tired and worn out, but he lightened right up when he saw me and what I was wearing! Or maybe it was what I wasn’t wearing! *wink*
